When you hear your coach say "get your mind right", it really means leave the world behind. Forget all the bullshit from the day's events. Think about where you are NOW and what you are about to do. Live in the present. Put the movements together in your head. If you have mobility issues to address, get in early and work them. Warm up as prescribed. Pay attention in the pre-WOD brief. Then lock in and wait your cue....3-2-1 GO !
For most, your training sessions are a very small portion of your day. If you set it up right, your training environment can serve as a great escape from the outside world. Set up is everything. Get your mind right and watch your performance shine.
Stay strong!
Peace- Johnny
